Worldviews Golden nuggets The Big Bang doesn’t explain the origin of the universe (time, space and matter). The Big Bang describes what happened after whatever brought it into existence. Science can’t explain how the universe came into being. How could it come into being from nothing? The creator of time, space and matter would have to be outside of time, space and matter. It would have to be timeless, spaceless and immaterial How can life come from non-life? Science can’t explain how the life originated. They only have hypotheses. Science cannot rule out the possibility that a creator God exists. Science only addresses the material world. God is immaterial. Something significant happened in Jerusalem in the early 30s AD. An event so significant that it split the Jewish faith in two, and lead to widespread belief in Jesus of Nazareth as the risen Messiah
